Covid-19 Response and Responsibilities
Signage Posted on all Doors
Anyone who enters the building over the age of 5 must wear a face mask. If they do not have one available, please provide one. Masks are located at every front desk and more are on order.
-
- If a patient asks for an accommodation to not wear a mask while in the building they should be offered a video visit if appropriate. If not, reception should ask the patient to wait outside while they check with Practice Manager and/or Provider before the patient re-enters the building. The patient would be asked to wait outside or from the comfort of their car (if they choose) for their appointment (if approved by Practice Manager or Provider) and would be escorted to the exam/treatment room when the provider is available to minimize exposure. Seeing patients without a mask on is up to the provider and their comfortability, this would be approved on a case by case basis.
Practice Social Distancing Maintain a 6ft distance whenever possible. Upon check-in patients will be reminded as well.
Anyone with COVID Symptoms are NOT to enter the building.
Patients with symptoms call ours clinic for further instructions.
If the patient arrives, sees the sign on the door, and calls our team for triage prior to entering, the following will happen:
If the patient is suspected of having COVID-19, we would proceed with scheduling the appropriate Video Visit with their provider.
If the patient is suspected of having COVID-19, but a Video Visit is not appropriate, they will be instructed to call the Asante hotline for urgent care if needed. Their appointment should also be rescheduled for after COVID testing is completed and their provider clears them to be seen at Complete Care. A patient case with full details should be sent to the patient’s provider.
